Jenulence Mineral Makeup rave

I have heard alot of really great things about Jenulence on YouTube, and was very excited to try it out myself. Their customer service is great, and the shipping is absolutely fantastic. My package got here in three days!
All of the things I picked out off their site I LOVE, and I also loved that there was such a wide range of colors to choose from. The eyeshadows come in three different finishes: Matte, shimmer, and sparkle. I picked out one matte black eyeshadow and then the rest were shimmers. I just simply cannot get over how GORGEOUS all the colors are!

Another thing I adore about this company is that they are cruelty free and don't test on animals. I'm starting to get into Organic makeup that wont irritate my sensitive skin, so I am very happy I got to try these products out. They do not use synthetic preservatives, talc, nano-particles or micronized minerals in their makeup. It is hypoallergenic, doesn't clog the pores, and provides complete sun protection.

I have only tried one other mineral makeup before in my life and that was Bare Minerals. I did use that for a few years religiously, but it was also back when I didn't need the coverage that I do now that I am 22. One thing about Bare Minerals that I absolutely could not stand was that If I wore it in the summer or to go work out or anything active were I would be sweating, for some reason It made my face itch like crazy and it was SO annoying. I have found that Jenulence has not made my face itch when I sweat so far so that is AMAZING! I only just recently started to use liquid foundation a few months ago, and I like it but I feel like it clogs my pores and I'm afraid to wear it for the rest of my life. So just knowing that what I am putting on my face is all natural and non-toxic, deffinately makes me feel better.

If you would like to see a tutorial video I have done featuring the products I am talking about and more, you can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/MsGlitterVeins21?feature=mhw5#p/a/u/2/mf0DrIsQBIA

All in all, I have nothing but good things to say about this product. I love it!

Contest

Ok, so I am deffinately going to do a contest once I reach 1,000 subscribers. I made it to over 600 today and I have been thinking about this contest for a while. I deffinately want to do something awesome to say thank you to all my subscribers for watching my videos. My question to you is, for the prize, would you rather have a Coastal scents palette ( either of your choice or I can pick one for you... warm, neutral, matte, ultra shimmer etc.. and I was thinking it would be an 88 palette since I really think they are the best thing ever for people just getting into makeup)
OR a full sized perfume and maybe a couple of my favorite makeup items? I hope to get some input on this seeing as I have been thinking about it for a while and cannot decide.
If you think about it, a full sized perfume is more expensive BUT the palette is more makeup related (since I have a makeup/hair channel) And I know a few people who would LOVE to win a coastal scents palette . It would be really good for people who don't have one yet. I wish I had the money to get a MAC palette for you guys to show you how much I appreciate your loyalty... but I don't even have a mac palette myself! hehe
So I would really love some input on this. If anyone reads this and has a suggestion please message me on youtube. Or if you wantyou can even comment on this post, I just dont check this everyday and I do check my YT everyday. Thank you!!!

Hair Flairs reflective hair highlights

Ok so I was SO excited when this company was nice enough to send me samples of their product for review, and as an added bonus they got here on my birthday! That was such a nice surprise.
These reflective hair highlights are a really cute, fun way to add a little bling to your hair. They are perfect for Proms, cheerleading events, parties, clubbing, or any other special occasion when you feel like having some bling ;-) You may have seen Beyonce wearing them at the Grammys. They are also a great thing for Salon owners, they offer a special stylist/salon combo on their website that even comes with a poster to advertise to your clients.
Hair Flairs come in 18 different colors (which are all beautiful) and they just recently launched their "Hair Flairs Pro" line which will include 12 new colors that handle high heat well and are super durable.
Hair Flairs reflective hair highlights are a temporary tie-in extension that lasts about 2-6 weeks depending on how gentle you are on your hair. You can wash, blowdry, style, curl, and flat iron your hair as usual. If you would like to have them in for a special occasion only, you can take them out. Otherwise they will just fall out naturally. I'd like to verify that they really do stay in well. I put some in my own hair and the one of my girlfriends came over and wanted some purple ones in her hair. That was over a week ago and we both still have them in.
I love that this product is 100% safe. It's non-toxic and made from high quality polyester fiber. It is not going to break, split apart or melt when using styling tools. Some of the products out there are poorly dyed and the color can wear off while you are washing your hair which could cause the color to bleed onto the surrounding hair and ruin light hi lites (especially blondes yikes!) But Hair Flairs WILL NOT do that.

A little tip for care: if your going to be using your flat iron on your strands, mae sure to keep the iron moving through your hair to avoid damage to the hair flairs and your own hair. These strands are guaranteed up to 350-400 degrees.

Lastly I have to say I was really impressed with their shipping. Mine got here very fast. Shipping is actually FREE on all standard shipping orders in the U.S. and Canada. All in all I really like this product. I can think of tons of occasions I'd like to wear these for. OH and let me tell you about all the compliments you will get when you wear them! Random people stop me and ask about them and wear to get them constantly.
They also out of the kindness of their hearts sent me extra to give away to my subscribers on youtube so stay tuned for that! This company gets 5 stars from me!

Just a few of my top Fave products at the moment :)

So I've been meaning to get my tagged "go to products" video up on my youtube channel but I just havent had the time lately, so I figured why not list a few of my favorite picks on here? Hope you enjoy. Make sure you leave a comment telling me what your fave products are! xoxo

Starting off with hair, I have been LOVING the " It's a 10" hair treatment. I would say it is a little on the pricey side for the amount you are getting in the little tub it comes in, but I guess that may also depend on your hair type. I have really really long hair and it seems to soak conditioner right up as soon as I put it in my hair, so I know that I use WAY more then the average person. I have been using it every time I wash my hair just because I feel my hair is kind of dry, but it could be used just once a week as a treatment :) I belive I paid around $25.00 for this 8floz tub. I know a few other stylists who swear by all of the "it's a 10" products.

I'd also like to mention Loreal Elnett extra hold hairspray. I am very picky when it comes to this topic seeing as I am a hairdresser and don't like sprays that leave hair sticky or crunchy. This hairspray does just that for me, holds a style and is not sticky or crunchy! Sebastion shaper zero is also good. I bought the miniature bottle which was only $6.99 just because I wanted to try it out first and see how it was before I bought the larger size bottle, and I'll deffinately be picking that up sometime soon!

Next up, Revlon Photoready foundation. I have really been loving this foundation, and am actually quite new to using liquid foundation in general (I've always been obsessed with Bare Minerals) but have noticed more lately that I feel I have more to cover up AND I am super duper pale and cant stand when my face is so pale its looks translucent, so I have my foundation a shade or two darker then my skin tone, I know I know thats bad but I dont really care! lol I blend well :) So being one of the first foundations I use all over my face on a daily basis, this one rocks! and I love that it gives more of a dewey finish rather then looking too matte and cakey, yet it doesn't have noticable sparkle to it. I picked mine up at CVS for around $13.00

Next I'd like to mention my NYX jumbo pencil in Milk. I'm sure everyone has heard about this many times before, but they make the BEST white eyeliner HANDS DOWN. Most of the time white eyeliners don't show up the way we would like them to especially on our water lines. It's just such a creamy nice product, I MUST buy more! Oh and great prices too! I think mine was like $3.50 maybe

I also just purchased a NYX round lipstick for the first time recently in "Harmonica" and I was actually impressed at how nice it feels going on your lips! It is also a beautiful pink color perfect for day or night time. I do really really like this lipstick but I'm afraid its not going to make it to my ultimate favorite products list, for there a just a few things that I dislike about the product. Well number one, you simply cannot beat the price, $3.50 or less when they are having a sale. So for the price I am extremely pleased. However I don't feel that it has a great staying power and I must re-apply often :[ Also I don't feel it is the most moisturizing lipstick in the world either although maybe my lips are just really dry on account of the season.

and lastly, I was SO excited to see that Walmart now carries Hard Candy which I remember only seeing at sephora! I've heard many great reviews and Recommendations on their blush in " Pin up" so for 7$ I HAD to try it now that I have been out of my bare minerals blush and bronzer. Well I really like it, the color is a great wearable everyday peachy pink nude-ish sort of color which is perfect for when in a hurry and just grabbing a blush without having to think about which one to wear that day, and the packaging of course is to die for! so I bought it in "pin up" and also "bombshell" for contouring my cheeks.
So there you have just a few of the products I'm loving at the moment, I hope you enjoyed this post! I should have that tag video up soon!!xoxo

Fake MAC products

I am absolutely SHOCKED to find that so many people these days are getting away with selling fake MAC products. I came across a video on youtube the other day sharing some info on how to spot them so you dont get taken advantage of. This person bought some pigments off Ebay. When she held up the fake one next to the real one you really could NOT tell the difference at all! Seeing as I am not someone who has alot of money to spend on makeup very often, I can count the number of mac products I actually own. I think its like 5 or 6 and thats it. There are tons of things i'd LOVE to have and am saving up for, so it really bothers me to see people in my same situation get ripped off.
Like I said before, you practically have to be an expert at identifying fakes or at least have a real one in its box handy to compare the two and be able to tell that its not real. A big thing is Ebay. They are selling TONS of fake MAC on Ebay, infact 90% of it on ebay is fake.Especially brushes. your best bet is just buying it straight from the store or site. Please spread the word to everyone you know! I think the more people who know about it might lower the rate of purchases made to these scandalous companies who are stealing peoples money!
If you would like to see live videos on how to compare/tell them apart, just go to youtube and search "fake mac" I would have liked to make a video or at least posted pictures up on here of real ones but I don't have any mac to show really :( Here are some ways to spot fakes :
( I hope this helps)

Fake MAC pigments:

look exactly the same next to a real one except the fake is a tiny bit shorter, the real one will always have a tracking/product number on it, and this is the big one : the fake mac pigment says 26 US OZ on the front of it, the REAL one says .26 oz. BIG difference there! Sometimes the fake one will say on the outside or top of the box " blue pigment" or just "pigment" and in reality ALL MAC products have a real name! Eyeshadows, blushes, beauty powders, They all have their own color names!

Packaging:

If the packaging looks cheap, It's fake! A big thing these sites like to make are Limited Edition items that you cant find anymore unless you get lucky and can find them at a cco. Make sure if the item is limited edition, you have done your research and made sure that that product ever even existed. Example : Heatherette liquid liner or Hello Kitty Fix + or clean water... Those products never even existed! Sometimes they will show an eyeshadow or a little blush compact that comes with a little sponge tip applicator. MAC doesnt make things with little sponge tip applicators except for sometimes when it comes in a special edition item sold in a MAC store.

Sometimes they sell whole MAC brush rolls, which mac doesnt make. And dont be fooled by a "too good to be true" deal where you can get " 54 pigments for 39.99! "

Ebay:

If you are buying things off Ebay make sure you are dealing with a trusted seller. Take time to read the reviews people have left about them. If people arent happy with what they have gotten, they will complain about it. So make sure there are good ones. Don't be afraid to ask alot of questions or even request more pictures of the item just so you can be sure. And make sure you ALWAYS read the fine print!

Make sure that if you do recive a Fake item, you do not open or use it and demand your money back right away! You have no idea what is in these products, so you dont know what you are putting on your face. And sometimes they are made in bulk in unsanitary conditions.

Well I hope this helped some of you, I'm still like beyond shocked at how many people actually fall for it and buy fake products so please, anyone who actually reads this, spread the word!

xoxo Ashley

PS. so dont buy mac off ebay or the internet unless it's from a trusted seller :) here are some links to the BAD sites so you know NOT to buy from them :
